Scholarship Opportunities
Betty Jenkins CPMSM Conference Scholarship Application – This scholarship is given in honor of Betty Jenkins, a former GAMSS leader, and covers a portion of the cost for registration/attendance at the state or national conference (each has a maximum allowed for reimbursement).
Susan Manion-Galloway, RT, CPMSM, CPCS, BBA Certification Examination Scholarship Application – This scholarship is given in memory of Susan Manion-Galloway, a long-time GAMSS leader and certification supporter, and covers the cost of exam application to NAMSS.
Susan Manion-Galloway, RT, CPMSM, CPCS, BBA Certification Prep Workshop Scholarship Application – This scholarship is given in memory of Susan Manion-Galloway, a long-time GAMSS leader and certification supporter, and covers the cost of the certification prep workshop for GAMSS.
Outstanding Member Award Application – For a member that has demonstrated support for the activities of their office and for the role of the medical staff/credentialing services professional; Encouragement and enthusiasm for the work of GAMSS; Commitment to the organizational goals of their institution and GAMSS; Qualities of leadership and statesmanship exhibited for the benefit of their institution and of GAMSS.
New Member Award Application - This award covers a one-year GAMSS membership; Open to any person in the medical staff or credentialing services field in the State of Georgia meeting the following criteria: Has not previously received this award; Is not a current member of GAMSS and has not been a member for a minimum of twelve (12) months as of the date of the application; Institution is unable or unwilling to sponsor membership in GAMSS for the applicant.
LaSharn Hughes MBA GAMSS/NAMSS Membership Scholarship - This award covers a one-year GAMSS & NAMSS membership and was created in memory of LaSharn Hughes MBA, former Executive Director of the Georgia Composite Medical Board and GAMSS supporter.
