Position Title: Licensing Assistant
Description:

·         We have an immediate opening for a Licensing Assistant in our Atlanta office.

This hands-on position will be responsible for assisting with the licensing of physicians providing services in Eagle Telemedicine’s hospital sites. Candidates must be organized and thorough in all aspects of their job duties.  

Job description:

  •   Run monthly expiration reports from credentialing database, including license, DEA and        CSRs
  • Compare monthly expiration reports with Eagle status in each expiring state
  • Complete renewal applications including license, DEA and CSRs
  •  Maintain and update credentialing database as renewals are processed
  • Send providers updates on renewal statuses
  • Obtain license renewal copies from providers
  • Monthly credit card reconciliation
  • Request quarterly CME updates from all provider and maintain provider CME logs
  • Stay up to date on state specific CMEs, communicate requirements out to providers
  • Request primary source verifications for medical board and follow-up on outstanding items
  • Complete reimbursement approval, as submitted by providers

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, are a must. 
  • We will look for someone who has shown attention to detail and the ability to follow through on assigned tasks.  
  •  Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, organize and meet deadlines essential.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with tact.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule with frequent interruptions and competing priorities.
  • Personal time management skills required.
  • Must perform duties and responsibilities timely and consistently.
  • Solid analytical and problem- solving abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information essential.
  • Excellent telephone/communication skills required.
  • Basic clerical skills and ability to utilize fax machines, copier, & scanners.

Salary: 35k-40k
